Scottish born designer Duncan Phyfe curated pieces in styles such as neoclassical, Sheraton, Regency, and French directoire. He later evolved into Empire styles. His furniture became so influential that the Metropolitan Museum of Art hosted an exhibit on Phyfe’s work.
