The Bali Hai collection was created by the iconic Henry Link for Lexington Furniture in the 1960s and 70s, capturing America’s fascination with island-inspired living. Known for its faux bamboo trim, rattan details, and classic chinoiserie silhouettes, Bali Hai quickly became a symbol of resort-style elegance brought into the home. Today, these pieces are coveted as vintage furniture treasures—timeless in design, versatile in function, and always ready to be reimagined with a bold lacquer finish.

We specialize in high gloss lacquer. We use a waterbased industrial wood lacquer coating, and every layer of primer, color and top coat is catalyzed. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.
For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray. We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
