He was known as a portraitist, sketching and painting the intellectual, economic, and political elite of Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, and beyond. This print is courtesy of the Monserrat Museum in Barcelona, Spain. The original is on loan to the Van Gogh Museum, in Amsterdam.
