Capri is a watercolor and gouache painting by British artist, Hercules Brabazon. Brabazon was born into an aristocratic family, studied mathematics, and trained to be a lawyer at Cambridge. After inheriting multiple family estates in England and Ireland, he dedicated his life to travel and art. His first public art exhibition didn't happen until he was 71 years old. At that first London exhibition, acclaimed artists John Singer Sargent and Claude Monet praised him.
