The intricacy of this illustration is fantastic! — Casey

This image is a watercolor painting titled "Sugar Bowl" created in 1936 by artist John Fisk for the Index of American Design. The painting depicts a classic blue and white ceramic jar, often categorized as Delftware or a chinoiserie ginger jar. The jar features intricate blue floral patterns and a gold-colored lid.  It has the words "BEST ECARATTE" written on the front and is signed "JOHN FISK" at the bottom right. This artwork is courtesy of the National Gallery of Art collection.
