MAKER: Morganton Furniture began crafting furniture in 1940 in North Carolina. Their pieces are mid-century modern with Danish influence. They use a variety of materials, namely mahogany and lighter woods like teak wood.

CONDITION: Solid strong piece with smooth dove-tailed drawers and 2 cabinet doors that close and latch easily. We removed some decorative detail on the front and the leg knuckles to make it more modern. This buffet is part of a larger collection which included a dining table and hutch which will be completed later this year.

DIMENSIONS: 37.5"h x 66"w x 21.5"d

FINISH: This is a high gloss water-based 2k finish.

COLOR: Inkwell 6992, Sherwin Williams

CARE: The finish is tough as nails and will endure decades if proper care is taken. We recommend dusting often and using a very mild soap and soft sponge if necessary for spills. Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will destroy the gloss finish.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will ensure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
