Davis Cabinet Co.

Lipscomb Davis started Davis Cabinet Co in 1929. He had worked for Standard Furniture in Nashville since 1911. During his years as superintendent at Standard, he formed a free-floating theory for the solid wood manufacture of furniture. Further, he envisioned a ready waiting market for the kind of quality and style he intended as the hallmark of his furniture. Foremost, furniture made of the finest select hardwoods. He purchased Standard in 1929 to form Davis Cabinet Co, and it is still in production today.

 

Our lacquered furniture is finished with catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. Upon delivery, we provide you with our Revival Kit, complete with touch-up material straight from the can we sprayed it with. Check out our Care and Maintenance Page for full instructions.
