Graham

Graham

Out of stock

Graham may be subtle, but he packs a punch! He has 9 deep and wide single drawers. This impressive Thomasville lowboy dresser has the original Ming / Greek Key style brass hardware with its original protectorate intact. Some pulls do have a bit of patina that broke through the lacquer finish over the years. We think that just adds to Graham’s character. He is the perfect mix of warm and cool tones for a transitional interior.

This dresser is part of a larger collection. There is a tallboy, Grant, and a pair of nightstands, The Nelsons, that are the same design family. Both Grant and Graham are finished in lacquer in Benjamin Moore’s Silver Half Dollar. The Nelsons are in Benjamin Moore’s Newburyport Blue.

Graham has been previously loved by prior generations so minor imperfections should be expected.

Maker / Designer

Starting with just the chair, Thomasville expanded to a variety of furniture styles. They have released multiple collections over the years, some of which were inspired by the Art Deco movement, Hollywood Regency, and Ernest Hemingway. Additionally, their pieces emanate French provincial, Queen Anne, Chippendale, and the occasional Asian-inspired chinoiserie pieces.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
