We imagine Hazel spent her first life against a lemon-yellow wall in a tiled Florida breakfast nook—equal parts bookshelf, bar cart, and correspondence center. One shelf held a rotating cast of ceramic birds. Another? A stack of crossword puzzles in permanent progress. Her drawers were less secretive, more... chaotic. Tape, stamps, a deck of cards missing the queen of hearts.

Hazel is classic Henry Link faux bamboo, freshly plucked from the past and now fully revived in Huntington Green—a soft olive lacquer that adds elegance without ego. She’s been fitted with new classic vintage-style hardware and is positively glowing in her glossy new outfit.

Maker / Designer

Henry Link furniture is known for mid-century modern craftsmanship, solid wood composition, and intricate carving/inlays. Link’s styles were favored by the likes of Jackie Kennedy and Elizabeth Taylor.

Finish

We specialize in high gloss lacquer. We use a waterbased industrial wood lacquer coating, and every layer of primer, color and top coat is catalyzed. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
