LACQUERED VINTAGE CHINOISERIE WARDROBE HIGHBOY CABINET

This is a glamorous lacquered wardrobe / tallboy from Stanley. These are a rare find in the Pacific Northwest. This one was well cared for when we found it. She has 4 shelves behind the door and 6 generous drawers. All the original hardware has been cleaned, polished and re-lacquered to prevent tarnish. India is finished in a deep navy high gloss lacquer. Color is Inkwell from Sherwin Williams.

This piece has been well loved by prior generations so minor imperfections should be expected.

Stanley Furniture has several unique features such as hardware (wood pulls, metal pulls and recessed pull), sturdy leg/leg supports, and a particular sheen on their walnut pieces. Their styles range from classic American, colonial, to country.

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects. 


For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
