She is finished in Curator’s high gloss “Lemon Yellow Drizzle Cake.” If you’re not familiar with Curator, it is the new hot Irish import in interior fine finishes. There are a handful of locations around the country that carry it and Portland is one of them. We took the risk on this piece because it had been painted prior vs. the original finish.

We were so incredibly impressed, especially my Fine Paints of Europe Master Painter who really put it to the test. He loved it. This finish is hard as a rock and really feels like lacquer. Crazy!

This piece has 9 drawers with ALL NEW SLIDES. We also applied all new edge banding before finish and a very sturdy new back and new wheels to the bottom. She’s not light on her feet, but she’s gorgeous, including her brand new satin finish brass hardware and lovely white and gold drawer liner. Seriously it’s practically brand new! Not a flaw in sight!!!

Lemoncello has been previously loved by prior generations so minor imperfections should be expected, but it would be very hard to find one on this baby!

Care

This has been finished in Curator, an Irish import not easy to come by in the United States. We prefer Curator for its amazing color palette and the glorious hard finish and shine that nearly matches that of lacquer. We recommend dusting often and using a very mild soap and soft sponge or microfiber cloth if necessary for spills. Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will destroy the gloss finish.
