Lillian spent forty years as the most discreet dresser on the east side, quietly keeping track of the good stockings, the secret letters, and exactly how many cashmere sweaters were bought “on sale.” Those gently curved drawer fronts are the knowing little smile she could never quite hide. We rescued her from a garage and decided retirement was out of the question, so we lacquered her in a deep, unapologetic true blue in our high-gloss finish. Her hardware came from a separate vintage find that simply belonged to her, and brass caps keep her feet as polished as ever. She has six drawers, plenty of room for your own secrets, and she’ll keep them just as faithfully.
