Phoebe is a phenomenon. She's the upper half of a Duncan Phyfe china hutch. The bottom of the hutch became Betty, who was named after my Grandma O'Malley and was the first piece we ever sold! 

We designed Phoebe to be a wall cabinet. We shortened the depth of the piece to only 9.5" in total when hung on the wall. She comes with 2 full width wood cleats on the back so it can easily hang securely on any wall. See the illustration.

She could be great storage over a toilet, or in a kitchen or anywhere you want to display decorative items. More details are in the tabs below.

Maker / Designer

The history of this piece is cloudy. We imagine this piece was in a dining room for a very long time through many meals, holidays, family moments.

Finish

We specialize in high gloss lacquer. We use a waterbased industrial wood lacquer coating, and every layer of primer, color and top coat is catalyzed. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.

Local Pickup is always free.

Local Delivery within the Portland Metro Area is $200.00. Delivery can usually be arranged within a week.

Nationwide Shipping is provided by a private network of white glove shippers. Lead times range from 1-4 weeks depending upon season and distance. Rates are determined by weight, dimensions, and your location. This piece falls in the SMALL shipping profile for your zone. Check out the Furniture FAQs for rates and more information.

Pieces smaller than 30" on all sides can be shipped in a double-walled box via USPS, UPS or FedEx Ground. Arrival is usually within 14-21 days.
