These botanicals are reminiscent of a set of 8 I once had from a vintage coffee table book — Casey

This vintage botanical is a watercolor of the Lafayette plum (Prunus domestica), painted by artist R.C. Steadman (Royal Charles Steadman) back in September 16, 1919. This artist was a prominent illustrator for the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection. The original is currently preserved in the National Agricultural Library's rare collection.
