His drawers held stacks of dog-eared notebooks, press credentials from long-forgotten assignments, and the occasional emergency bottle of whiskey. Over the years, his deep wood tones dulled under piles of unsorted drafts and coffee rings. But Ripley has been reborn. Now, in a soft blue lacquer reminiscent of well-worn denim, he’s polished, refined, and ready for a new adventure. With six spacious drawers and a mix of new brass knobs and original pulls, he’s the perfect blend of nostalgia and fresh beginnings.

Finish

We specialize in high gloss lacquer. We use a waterbased industrial wood lacquer coating, and every layer of primer, color and top coat is catalyzed. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
