Tessa

LACQUERED VINTAGE FAUX BAMBOO DRESSER

Tessa's a 1970s faux bamboo lowboy with nine drawers, vintage bones, and enough personality to carry a whole room.

When Tessa arrived, she was sun-faded, scraped up, and—how do we put this delicately—down a leg. Rumor has it she lost it in a runaway martini cart incident at a very enthusiastic cocktail party sometime around 1983. We can neither confirm nor deny.

But what we can confirm is that her comeback is now complete. She’s traded her scuffs for a glossy ravishing radish lacquer that practically radiates optimism. Her original brass pulls are now polished back to their show-stopping best, and yes—she’ll be fully repaired (leg and all), footloose and fabulous.

Prepare yourself. Tessa isn’t subtle, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Original Vintage Drawer Pulls

Starting with just the chair, Thomasville expanded to a variety of furniture styles. They have released multiple collections over the years, some of which were inspired by the Art Deco movement, Hollywood Regency, and Ernest Hemingway. Additionally, their pieces emanate French provincial, Queen Anne, Chippendale, and the occasional Asian-inspired chinoiserie pieces.

Our lacquered furniture is finished with catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. Upon delivery, we provide you with our Revival Kit, complete with touch-up material straight from the can we sprayed it with. Check out our Care and Maintenance Page for full instructions.
