LACQUERED VINTAGE HENREDON DRESSER SET

MAKER: A pair of four drawer bachelor chests / nightstands made by Henredon.

FINISH / COLOR: We finished this piece with a water-based high gloss 2k lacquer in the color Gossamer Blue (2123-40) from Benj. Moore.

CONDITION: We purchased these from a woman downsizing. They were handed down to her from her grandmother and used rarely in a guest room. Dovetailed drawers and all original slides work perfectly.

We do extensive preparation before lacquer is applied. Our goal is that no grain, nicks or dings will be visible when it's finally polished to a glossy shine. Despite that, this piece has been well loved by prior generations so minor imperfections may still be visible.

One of a kind — this piece has found its home.

Henredon furniture is characterized by a sleek and sexy aesthetic. Many designers have collaborated with the company, namely Dorothy Draper, Ralph Lauren, and architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Their pieces have a wide range of styles from the dentil motifs of the Taliesin Ensemble to mirrored room dividers in the 1970s.

Our water-based 2k lacquer finish is tough as nails and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using a very mild soap and soft sponge or microfiber cloth if necessary for spills. Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will destroy the finish.
