Wolcott is... well, we’re not entirely sure what he was — but we know exactly what he could be.

A vintage wonder from White Furniture Co., Wolcott measures a commanding 90 inches wide, with a slim 18-inch depth and a bold trapezoid silhouette that whispers “custom” and possibly “designed during a full moon.” At 23 inches tall, he hovers in that delightful in-between space — too tall to be a coffee table, too wide for a footboard, too intriguing to be ignored.

He might be the perfect statement bench for a grand hallway. Or a minimalist console behind a low mid-century modern floating sofa. Or the base for an epic built-in moment in your dressing room. Whatever his destiny, one thing’s certain: Wolcott wasn’t made to disappear into a corner.

He’s currently unfinished, just waiting for the right color to complete his next act. You choose the color, and we’ll work our lacquered magic.

Some pieces don’t follow the rules. And Wolcott? He writes them.

Maker / Designer

Founded in 1881, White Furniture Co. has produced a variety of products ranging from fine furniture to pieces crafted for military stations. Elegant mahogany furniture showcases their attention to detail and signature crafted inlays.

Finish

We use an Italian water-based lacquer system. Every layer is fully catalyzed with a specialized hardener to add durability. 

The high gloss finish is similar to a piano and will reflect a lot of light.

The satin finish is softer and muted without a high reflective quality.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will endure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
