Grant

Grant

Out of stock

Grant is a tall sturdy man of a dresser! He has 5 deep single drawers. Don’t be fooled by the design of the top 2, they are each single drawers. All are in original working condition with the Thomasville maker’s mark in the top drawer. This dresser makes quite the impression with the original brass hardware, still with its original protectorate intact. The Ming design of the hardware could also be considered similar to a Greek Key design. Would go well in any transitional design scheme.

This Thomasville Ming dresser is part of a larger collection. There is a lowboy, Graham, and a pair of nightstands, The Nelsons, that are the same design family. Both Grant and Graham are finished in lacquer in Benjamin Moore’s Silver Half Dollar. The Nelsons are in Benjamin Moore’s Newburyport Blue.

Grant has been previously loved by prior generations so minor imperfections should be expected.

Care

Our lacquer finish is catalyzed (2k) at every coat. It is a very durable finish and will ensure for decades with proper care. We recommend dusting often and using coasters and protective felt feet on pointed objects.

For cleaning greasy finger prints or dirty smudges, this is the product we use for the "final finish". It is waterbased and will not react with our finish. Do not substitute with a solvent-based finishing spray.  We recommend both the Meguiars Final Finish and these microfiber cloths.

Do not use any cleansers with ammonia or other harsh chemicals, it will dull the finish.
