Feels so contemporary despite its age. — Casey

Painted by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot around 1825-1828. He is a French artist who painted landscapes and portraits, was also a printmaker, and a well-known art teacher in Paris. Corot was an important figure in the Barbizon school in France during the mid-1800s. He played a key role in landscape painting, blending traditional Neo-Classical styles with early ideas from Impressionism. This print is available courtesy of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Our collection is sourced from the permanent collections of the world's leading museums and cultural institutions, offered here as archival-quality reproductions.
