This piece is part of the True color capsule grounded with shades of pinks, greens and often yellows. I was inspired to pay homage to famed Palm Springs architect Elgin Woolf and his choice to paint the exterior of his Marrakesh Country Club in Palm Desert a rich salmon pink. Against the backdrop of the lush tightly cut grass of the golf course, even today it still looks both retro and modern and is lovingly maintained like it was just opened yesterday.
